- Read Matthew 20:25-28. How does Jesus contrast the way His followers are to lead versus the way the world normally works?
- If Christ-followers today embraced Jesus’ words from Matthew 20:25-28, how might it change the church’s reputation in the world?
- What does it tangibly look like for you to exert influence based on Jesus’ upside-down definition of leadership? What might you have to sacrifice? What might you gain?
- How do you balance being a gracious servant leader while also still being serious about results? What have you learned?
- Do you need to do a better job of serving someone you lead? How can you be intentional with helping them flourish?
