Discuss Together What generation are you in? (Builders born before 1946; Boomers 1946-1964; Gen X 1965-1980; Millennials 1981-1996; Gen Z 1997-2012) How would you characterize your generation’s general attitude and approach to life and faith? Just a few decades ago, over 60% of young adults claimed to be Christian. That number is now at 37%. Why do you think the number has gone down so much? What have you heard from the youth and young adults in your life? Read Mark 10:13-16. When was the last time you were “indignant”? What was it that made you angry? Why you think Jesus got so angry in this particular situation? What does it tell us about God’s heart? Read Psalm 78:1-7. How do you think the generation before you set you up well in your faith journey? How do you think they could have done better? What does it mean to say the faith of the next generation is worth everything? How should that impact our decisions and priorities? How can we best set them up in their faith journey? Part of the Reimagine project is making student camps more accessible and affordable because these experiences are so powerful. How has a camp or mission trip experience impacted your life? Who are the kids, students, and young adults God has placed in your life? What does it specifically look like for you to model to and mentor them? Take a moment to pray for these kids, students, and young adults by name in your group.
