Discuss Together How do you figure out whether a person you’re interacting with is trustworthy? If you are comfortable, share about a time when your trust in a person or your faith in God was shaken. How did that impact you? Read Proverbs 3:5-6 together. What does it mean to trust in the Lord? Can it leave room to still have questions, doubts, or struggles? What does it mean to lean on one’s own understanding? How would a person know if they are doing that? What have you learned about growing in your trust in God? What fosters that growth? We all struggle in our faith journey. Is there an area where you’re struggling to trust in God or having big questions? Talk about it together as a group. Where do you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus? What would it look like for you to build trust this summer?
