Five of the Best "4th of July" Firework Displays in DFW for 2024
Every Fourth of July, our surrounding communities help celebrate Independence Day with spectacular firework displays. Oftentimes, the firework shows are preceded by special events and activities during the day. The festivities are a great opportunity for us to spend some time with friends and neighbors. So pick a firework display, grab some extra blankets or lawn chairs and bug spray, and invite the family next door to join you for a fun evening outside!
Here are five of the best and brightest Fourth of July celebrations happening nearby:
1. All American Fourth Fireworks
Check out the City of Plano’s All American Fourth from 6:00-10:00 PM on Thursday, July 4 at Collin College's Spring Creek Campus. Enjoy free fun and games with the whole family. Food and beverages available for purchase. No pets allowed.
The fireworks start at 9:30 PM and music will be simulcast live on 97.5 KLAK radio.
2. Frisco Freedom Fest
The City of Frisco's ever-popular Freedom Fest family celebration is back and bigger than ever! Events begin on Wednesday, July 3 with fun events including a cornhole tournament and fun run. Come back the next day for activities for the kids, a classic car show, live music, and more. 3. McKinney Red, White and BOOM!
The City of McKinney has its own Independence Day traditions scheduled for Thursday, July 4. Enjoy a parade and block party in downtown McKinney, or take in a concert and fireworks at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. Find more information and detailed schedule here.
4. Sachse's Red, White & Blue Blast
The City of Sachse’s annual Red, White & Blue Blast will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at Heritage Park. There will be live entertainment by the Party Machine band, food trucks, yard games, a Splashdown provided by the Sachse Fire Department. Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM!
5. Kaboom Town
General admission tickets for the return of Addison's impressive Kaboom Town and air show on Wednesday, July 3 are available here ($10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 2-9, and free for kids under 2). You can also watch fireworks at 9:30 PM from one of the many restaurants and hotels in Addison. Many locations are hosting watch parties with live music, dancing, and food/drink specials. Or, enjoy the show by watching the live stream on Addison's YouTube channel.
