Where To See Santa in DFW for 2024

The holiday season is upon us! The weather’s cooling down, decorations are popping up all around, and everyone’s ready to start making some special memories with loved ones. If your plans include a visit and photos with Santa Claus, we’ve got you covered. From traditional photo ops to unique experiences, here are 10 places where you can see Santa in DFW for 2024!


1. Stonebriar Centre

Location: 2601 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75034
Dates: November 8 - December 24, 2024
Details: Stonebriar Centre is hosting Santa at the JCPenney/Dick’s Sporting Goods court. Walk-ups welcome until closing, but reservations are encouraged. 

Cost: Photo packages start at $49.99; “reserve now and decide later” option for $19.99

Tip: Pet Nights are every Monday and Tuesday, November 11- December 10


2. Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden

Location: 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218
Dates: November 13 - December 23, 2024
Details: For a more scenic Santa experience, head to the Dallas Arboretum. Santa will be meeting guests at the Family Christmas Village. Keepsake photos are available with a donation to the Volunteer Advisory Board.

Cost: General admission ($22 for adults, $13 for kids ages 2-12) plus donation to VAB

Tip: The “12 Days of Christmas” experience is included in admission.


3. The Shops at Willow Bend

Location: 6121 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093
Dates: November 14 - December 24, 2024
Details: The Shops at Willow Bend is another top destination in Plano to visit Santa. Find him in Santa’s Village on the lower level in Neiman Marcus Court. Walk-ups are welcome but reservations are encouraged.

4. Frisco Square

Location: 8874 Coleman Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034
Dates: November 22 - December 22, 2024
Details: Frisco Square’s “Christmas in the Square” event is one of the best ways to experience the holiday season in Frisco. Along with millions of twinkling lights and a festive atmosphere, Santa will be available for photos in the Square on weekends (Friday – Sunday) 6-10 PM. There’s also an ice skating rink nearby, perfect for adding a little extra magic to your holiday outing. 

Cost: $15 per person ($5 per additional person, up to $30)

Tip: Catch the free light show to add to the holiday cheer!


5. Galleria Dallas

Location: 13350 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75240
Dates: November 22 - December 24, 2024
Details: One of the most iconic places to visit Santa in Dallas, Galleria Dallas is a holiday destination like no other. With its stunning ice skating rink and beautifully decorated tree, this mall offers a magical experience for families. Capture your family’s Christmas memories in Santaland at Santa’s North Pole chalet. Reserve your spot here. 

Cost: Adults (ages 13+) $14.99, kids (12 and under) $22.99; senior and military discounts available. Visit website for more details.

Tip: Don't miss the holiday ice skating shows and the festive atmosphere around the mall!


6. Santa’s Winter Wonderland at Watters Creek

Location: 915 Watters Creek Blvd, Allen, TX 75013

Dates: November 23 – December 24, 2024
Details: Book a portrait sitting with Santa at Watters Creek in Allen.

Cost: $20 deposit required to book; packages start at $49.95

Tip: “Quiet Time” with Santa available on December 8; Santa Paws pet photos available on December 2, 9, & 16 from 5-8 PM


7. The Shops at Legacy East

Location: 7161 Bishop Road (next to Kilwins), Plano, TX 75025
Date: November 24 – December 24, 2024

Tip: During the Lights at Legacy event on November 24, first-come, first-served photos with Santa will be $30 with 50% of proceeds benefitting My Possibilities. 

 

8. Free Santa Experience at Local Good Coffee Co.

Location: 201 Legacy Dr., Plano, TX 75023
Dates: November 29 – December 1, 2024
Details: Want to capture your own holiday memories? Sign up for a time slot to meet Santa and take your own pictures in a festive indoor environment. Afterward, warm up with some free hot cocoa, stay and play on the outdoor playground, or enjoy making a family-friendly craft. Reservations required.

Cost: FREE

Tip: Locally sourced treats and great coffee available for purchase, too.

 

9. NorthPark Center

Location: 8687 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75225
Dates: November 29 - December 24, 2024
Details: NorthPark Center is known for its beautiful holiday decorations and upscale shopping. Santa will be available in his traditional North Pole set for photos. NorthPark also offers Stories and Songs with Santa on weekday and Saturday mornings. 

Cost: Photo packages start at $25

Tip: While you’re at NorthPark, enjoy the art installations and holiday shopping!

 

10. Santa on the Square/The Magic of Santa in Historic Downtown McKinney

Location: 207 Davis St, McKinney, TX 75069
Dates: Starts December 5 (Thursday-Sundays in December)
Details: Families can pick one of two options to see Santa in historic McKinney: a Santa on the Square portrait sitting, or the “Magic of Santa” private session which features three sets and 15+ interactive activities with Santa.

Cost: Starting at $19.95 for Santa on the Square or $125 for The Magic of Santa

Tip: Discounts available for early booking in honor of the studio’s 10th anniversary
